FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced Tuesday that the new signalized reduced-conflict intersection turn lanes located between Franklin Lakes Boulevard and Nineveh Street are operational.
The traffic signals at Franklin Lakes Boulevard and Nineveh Street are also now operational.
INDOT also reminds motorists traveling eastbound or westbound on Franklin Lakes Boulevard/South Street or Nineveh Street, must turn right when entering U.S. 31.
Intermittent single lane closures will be used on U.S. 31 as Phase 2 of the project continues. Crews are still working on permanent pavement marking installation and median punch list work. When this work is finished, Phase 2 of the U.S. 31 project will be completed.
