COLUMBUS, Ind. - With road conditions continuing to improve, the Bartholomew County travel status was downgraded to the "Advisory" (Yellow) level early Thursday afternoon.
Significant progress has been made, but snow and ice-covered roads remain, especially on secondary and less-traveled roadways, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM).
The "Advisory" status means travel may be hazardous due to current or expected weather conditions.
BCEM said that drivers should use caution, slow down, and allow extra time to reach their destinations. Unnecessary travel should be avoided.
