COLUMBUS, Ind. – A total of 11 Columbus non-profit organizations are each receiving $2,000 grants from Centra Credit Union, the organization stated on Monday.

“Our Team Members love being able to support the causes they care about through this program,” said Centra Community Involvement Officer Jenni Carr.

The selected organizations include Advocates for Children, San Souci, Columbus Fireman’s Cheer Fund, Love Chapel, Our Hospice of Southern Indiana, Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center, Bartholomew County Humane Society, Book Buddies of Bartholomew County, Foundation for Youth, Turning Point, and Bartholomew County School Supplies Assistance Program.

The organizations were nominated by the Centra Team Member-Driven grant program that has so far awarded 27 grants this year, amounting to $52,000 in support to the communities that Centra serves.

“Giving back to our communities is essential. These wonderful organizations do amazing work, and we are honored to support them. We are stronger together,” said Centra President/CEO Rick Silvers.
