GREENWOOD, Ind. – Greenwood Public Library (GPL), the Rotary Club of Greenwood, and Modern Woodmen, are partnering to offer a Foster Care Fair this month.
Current and potential foster families are encouraged to attend. The fair will feature local organizations such as Resources of Hope, Safe Families for Children, First Steps, Adult and Child Health, and more.
The GPL event is designed to bring together community groups that provide service to foster care families as well as those who are seeking foster care placements. It is for everyone but will focus on those who want to learn more about resources for foster kids as well as information on how to become a foster parent.
The Foster Care Fair in Greenwood will be held on August 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
