Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bartholomew, Johnson and other counties

SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. - The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Bartholomew, Johnson and other South-Central Indiana counties on Wednesday Morning, March 11 until 9:45 a.m.

Counties affected include:

Northern Bartholomew County in central Indiana...  Hancock County in central Indiana... Shelby County in central Indiana... Rush County in central Indiana... Decatur County in central Indiana... Northeastern Brown County in south central Indiana... Johnson County in central Indiana...Southern Henry County in east central Indiana... Southeastern Marion County in central Indiana...

At 851 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Southport to near Nashville, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Indianapolis, Columbus, Shelbyville, Greenwood, Franklin, Greenfield, New Castle, Beech Grove, Greensburg, Rushville, Southport, Nashville, Adams, New Whiteland, Cumberland, Edinburgh, Whiteland, Bargersville, Knightstown, and Hope.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 65 between mile markers 68 and 111. Interstate 70 near mile marker 80, and between mile markers 89 and 133. Interstate 74 between mile markers 93 and 144.
